This MWC model is a direct descendant of the G10 watches we produced in the 1980s. It retains the popular battery hatch, a feature discarded by most other manufacturers. Originally, the battery hatch was necessary due to the short lifespan of early quartz watch batteries, which lasted around a year. With modern batteries now lasting around five years, the hatch serves more as a historical design detail, remaining popular for its nostalgic value.

Additional Information:
The back of the case bears unique contract markings and a serial number. The watch is supplied with both a current issue grey NATO webbing strap and a black strap. A wide range of additional straps in other colors are available for purchase if desired.
