A tank with a date…

A relative young-timer in the Cartier catalogue, the Tank Americaine was introduced in 1989 to add a bigger tank to the collection, inline with the trends at the time for larger watches, especially in the United States.
This watch houses a cream dial that is in perfect condition and has black Roman numeral hour markers, with the hidden signature in the X numeral and a date function. This model of the Tank Americaine also has a small seconds, which adds an interesting twist to the watch.

The delicate blued steel hands give the watch a classic look and the crown features the signature sapphire blue cabochon. The watch will come on an original short Cartier leather strap which has the original gold plaque Cartier deployment installed which is the perfect size for a lady.
We could also include a Bulang and Sons leather strap. This Tank has a quartz movement that has been fully checked by our watchmaker who also installed a new battery.
